ETHNIC STREETS IN THE WORLD

・Springvale is located about 26km south east of Melbourne CBD. The
　shopping street runs 500m along Springvale Road on the south side of
　Springvale station. Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Taiwanese ethnic shops
　line both sides of Springvale Road. However due to the traffic density on the
　road, the shopping area feels split into two parallel shopping areas on either
　side of the street.

・This street is a residential ethnic street. It doesn't have a festive atmosphere.
　Instead it is a place that supplies local residents with their daily necessities,
　and plays an important role as the core of the community.The shopping street
　has a double facade. People use their back doors that lead onto the car park
　side as a second entrance to their stores.
